A Worldwork Conversation aims to create more awareness of collective (power) dynamics within ourselves, between us and in the world. It means engaging in interaction with ourselves or a (small or big) group of people about what matters to them regarding specific topics. By hearing, acknowledging and supporting all voices, and revealing the underlying needs, a greater understanding and connection between diverse viewpoints and feelings emerges. It also means not avoiding polarization, and where needed we take care of de-escalation and conflict resolution. For the participants, this is a deepening experience that they can lean on, to actively make a difference in their own environment. A core of collective wisdom is touched, from where connections can be restored throughout polarized themes.
This type of group conversation is guided by facilitators trained in working with people around conflict, collective (power) dynamics and impact of talking about sensitive issues.
